The Bay County's Sheriffs office encourages the public to be involved in helping fight crime in their community and to be in partnership with the Sheriff's Office. Crime leads supplied by the public will be reviewed. Not all crime leads will be given an investigator due to the prioritizing of information that is most current, accurate and could possibly lead to conviction and arrest. Information that is gathered will be then turned over to the appropriate police unit.
