Confirmation of COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Email
Bay County, Michigan - The Bay County Health Department is continually working to improve the process for COVID-19 vaccine registration in our community in order to make this experience easier for our residents.
As Bay County is strengthening its registration and appointments system, it will send out confirmation emails to our registrants beginning today. These confirmation emails are to inform the registrant that they have successfully registered for the COVID-19 vaccination in Bay County, not to schedule an appointment.
If you already received your vaccine or have an appointment to do so, you may still receive this confirmation email, but you may disregard this message.
The Bay County Health Department has worked tirelessly to input survey data into appropriate software for vaccine administration, generate a seamless appointment scheduling process, and create an organized clinic experience for our residents. The administration of this vaccine is the largest public health response ever undertaken in Bay County.
Vaccine supply from the State of Michigan to the local health departments still remains very low. The short supply continues to be the biggest hurdle we face in getting our residents vaccinated in a timely fashion.
Bay County is prioritizing those residents in the 1B category that are 65+, but especially those 75 years of age and over. Vaccination appointments are being scheduled via email (from a @baycounty.net email address) or telephone. Please remember to answer your phone and check your email, as well as your spam folder, frequently.
If you have not registered for the COVD-19 vaccine in Bay County and you are in the 1A or 1B category, please do so by filling out the survey or calling 989-308-1828 to leave a message. An employee will return your call to register you for the vaccine.
