Bay County Police Agencies Join Hope Not Handcuffs Program

 

Police agencies from around Bay County have joined the Hope Not Handcuffs initiative from Families Against Narcotics. This program offers hope for area addicts who are seeking help with their addiction. If an addict comes to their local police agency asking for help the staff at that agency will contact a volunteer angel who will assist in finding a treatment program and then transport them to that program. This program includes the Bay County Sheriff's Office, Bay City Department of Public Safety, Essexville Department of Public Safety, Delta College Department of Public Safety, Hampton Township Police Department and soon the Pinconning Police Department.
