Saginaw Bay Coastal Initiative (SBCI)
Partners for Environmental & Economic Solutions
The Saginaw Bay Coastal Initiative is a collaboration between the counties of Arenac, Bay, Huron, Iosco, Midland, Saginaw and Tuscola, and partnering with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and various regional and federal agencies to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to promoting environmentally sound economic development and resource restoration in the Saginaw Bay coastal area. SBCI Program Updates

The Bay County Board of Commissioners and staff have been promoting their campaign for Beach Wellness to beautify the Bay County State Park waterfront. They hold fundraisers thoughout the year to fund various clean-up activities and to purchase equipment.
Please join us for the beach wellness annual fundraiser on June 26th at the Bay City State Recreation Area to raise money for beach grooming!
