Come check out the Bay County Civic Arena whether you want to watch or play hockey, speedskate or figure skate on one of our two rinks. We have a professional standard rink and an olympic standard rink. While here, if you need your skates sharpened come check out our Pro Shop. We have all the equipment and accessories you need. Along with accomodating all of your hockey needs, the Bay County Civic Arena is home to the Bay Area Thunder, Bay City Wolves, Delta College, and The Tri City Icehawks (Junior B Team).
We are located at 4231 Shrestha Drive, right of I-75, near the intersection of Wilder and Euclid Roads.

Public Skate and Drop In Hockey
Looking for a place to skate or drop in to play some hockey, you need to come check us out. We have open skate and drop in times throughout the week. We offer hockey or figure skate rental at $2.00 a pair and $3.00 to $5.00 for the skate. Check out our schedule below for times and prices...

Leasing Availability
The Bay County Civic Arena offers two ice surfaces to rent for whatever reason, be it hocky, figure skating, speedskating, dry floor events, or to just skate around with friends. Our facility was designed with you in mind offering all you need for your accomodations.
LEASING AVAILABILITY
Our ice rentals are flexible. We can arrange a one-time rental for a party or pracitce, a weekly rental for the season, tournament ice, and dry floor events. Do not forget that we also have a meeting/party room! Call us with your ideas and we will make arrangements....
Dry Floor Events
The Civic Arena now has the capability to host dry floor events on a 20,000 sqaure feet arena space. This room allows us to host a variety of events such as concerts, auto/boat/rv shows, craft and trade shows, etc. We would love the opportunity to host your event in the future. Bay County Hockey Association
We are proud to have the Bay County Hockey Association as one of our largest user groups here at the Civic Arena. For you that have not heard the Hockey Association changed its website. Youth Hockey Tournaments

Adult League Hockey 
The Civic Arena offers a competitive league for any type of player. We have a league to accomodate your level.

Bay County Speed Skating
For more than 50 years the Bay County Speedskating Club has provided recreational and competitive skating opportunities for kids and people of all ages in Bay County. With the construction of the Bay County Civic Arena, speedskating has more opportunity now than it ever has. Regardless of age, gender, ability, or level of competitive interest, the Bay County Speedskating Club provides opportunities and instruction for anyone interested in learning about speedskating. Currently the club's membership consists of skaters ranging in age from under 6 to over 60. For those interested in competing, speedskating meets are held around the state and counrty virtually every weekend of the season. Families can attend as many or as few competitions they choose. Don't hesitate, speedskate!
