Bay County, Michigan - The Bay County Health Department is releasing a telephone number to call to register for the COVID-19 vaccine in Bay County. While the preferred method of registration is still via the survey on our website, this number will provide registration service to those who do not have access to a computer or the internet.

Even with expanded staff there to answer the phones during regular business hours, we anticipate that many people will need to leave a message with your name and telephone number. Staff will return your call at the earliest available time to register you for the vaccine.
During your registration call, staff will collect your contact information, demographics, primary care provider, and your health insurance if you have it. Our staff will not ask for private information such as social security numbers, or methods of payment. Staff will inquire about other factors such as if you had a positive COVID-19 test, ever had a severe allergic reaction to a vaccine, etc. You should anticipate this call taking 10-15 minutes.
After you are registered, you will be added to the queue and combined with the registrations collected via the online survey. Staff from the Bay County Health Department will contact you separately to schedule your vaccine. The number the staff will be calling you from is the same as noted above.
