BAY CITY, MICH., December 9, 2019 – My Community DentalCenters (MCDC) and the Bay County Health Department is holding a groundbreakingceremony on Wednesday, December 11 at 10am at the site of its future dentalcenter in Bay City.

This 3,000 square foot centerwill be located at 2624 Center Avenue Bay City, MI 48708, in the plaza next toLittle Caesar’s and Family Dollar. Jim Barcia, Bay City County Executive, Commissionermike Lutz and other Bay County dignitaries are slated to attend this briefevent. The center will provide dental services to Medicaid enrollees, HealthyKids Dental, Healthy Michigan Plan, low-income uninsured and those with privateinsurance seeking a dental home.
It is anticipated that the four chair Bay Citydental center will be opening in the summer of 2020. The center will provide comprehensive dentalservices including oral exam/cleanings, fillings, tooth removal, partials,dentures, and other dental procedures. The organization also offers My DentalProgram (MyDP) for those without dental insurance, which provides reduced feesbased on household income. An initial exam with x-rays will be $39 for newpatients.
