Department on Aging Closing Meal Sites & Activity Centers

Bay County, Michigan - Out of an abundance of caution and, to prevent and contain the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019), all activities and meetings with the Department on Aging Congregate Meals sites are canceled and Activity Centers are closed, effective Monday, March 16, 2020, until further notice.

Home Delivered Meals and In-Home Services will continue, as scheduled, at this time.

Please remember in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19 follow the following are recommendations from the Center of Disease Control:

  1. Wash your hand often with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.

  2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

  3. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.

  4. Avoid handshakes.

  5. Avoid contact with people who are sick.

  6. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

  7. IF YOU ARE SICK, STAY HOME.
