Bay County is no longer a recipient of a grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and due to this unfortunate circumstance the County is unable to assist homeowners via the Housing Rehabilitation Program.  Please refer to the list below and/or call our office for additional housing rehabilitation resources.

Department of Human Services (DHS) - Emergency Services Program:
The State Emergency Relief (SER) Program provides help to low-income households to meet emergency needs such as: Heat & Utilities, Home Repairs, Relocation Assistance and Home Ownership Services. For more information call 989-895-2100.

Disabilities Resource Center - Ramp Building Program:
This program helps to build ramps in order to make a home accessible for a wheelchair or an amigo. Ramps are built to meet ADA codes. For more information call 989-895-5444.

Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency (MMCAA) Weatherization and Heating Program:

United Way - Tuesday Toolman:
