COVID Vaccine Clinic Information

The Bay County Health Department is hosting many COVID vaccine clinics. Walk-ups/drop-ins are welcome during every clinic listed below. 

These clinics will be using the Pfizer (BioNtech) vaccine unless otherwise noted. 

5-17 year olds are welcome for the Pfizer vaccine and can be vaccinated at our clinics. 

The minor consent form must be signed by the parent/guardian for 16 and 17 year olds if the parent/guardian is not present at time of vaccination.

12-15 year olds must have a parent, guardian or responsible adult present with them for vaccination and a signed consent form by the parent/guardian

5-11 year olds must have a biological or legal parent/guardian present with them to receive the vaccine.

Partner Providers of the COVID-19 Vaccine in our Community

Kroger - Pharmacies will dedicate an hour of each day exclusively to offer COVID-19 vaccines, check appointment availability

Current eligibility: Individuals 16+ (16 is the lowest age authorized by the FDA for use of the Pfizer vaccine. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available to anyone over 18)

Meijer - availability of the COVID-19 vaccine available at every store. Visit your local Meijer Pharmacy or if you prefer to set up an appointment, text “COVID” to 75049 and they will notify you when they have a dose for you. For more information click here.

Walmart – availability of the COVID-19 vaccine at stores in and around Bay County. Visit the store to book an appointment or schedule online here.

Walgreens - supplies of COVID-19 vaccines are now available at no cost for those who meet age and state-specific eligibility criteria. Visit a store to obtain a vaccine or book an appointment. You can book an appointment online as well.

Rite Aid - availability of the COVID-19 vaccine at stores in and around Bay County. Visit the store to book an appointment or schedule online here

Great Lakes Bay Health Center – Provides Moderna vaccine (and the Pfizer pediatric vaccine) Monday through Friday from 8:00 – 1:00 PM at Bay Side Health Center, 3884 Monitor Road. Walk-ins are available, no appointment is necessary. For more information visit GLBHC’s website here.
