Bay County Department on Aging Mission:
Bay County Department on Aging is dedicated to providing continued opportunities for the community's older adults by maintaining independence, offering social opportunities, and enhancing their lives through quality services in a cost-effective manner.
The Bay County Department on Aging is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Senior Citizens living in Bay County live their lifes as independently as possible in their own environment.
With this mission in mind we offer an opportunity for volunteers to assist us with services to help those in need.
Volunteers are pioneers toward a better community and future.
It's a way to:
Learn new skills and gain insight
Find new challenges
Develop a strong sense of caring and accomplishment
Build a better community
The Department on Aging programs rely on volunteers of all ages to assist with Friendly Transportation, Friendly Shopping, Friendly Calling and Visiting, Yard Clean up, Senior Center Helper, Wonderful Times Distribution, Tax Credit Volunteer, Meal Delivery Distribution, Special Events and Program Helper, and any other requests that are needed.
