Personal Care

Home bound individuals age 60 years and better who need help with personal care services, such as bathing, shampoo, and limited nail care, may contact Bay County Department on Aging to request the service. 

Trained Home Health Aides visit the home to provide services. 

A Registered Nurse or Social Worker completes the initial interview to assess need, determine hourly fee, and explain services.Services are provided on a private-pay basis, with fees based on income.

There are limited funds through the Department of Human Services and a State grant for individuals with very limited income.
