The objective of this program is to help seniors 60 years plus who are home-bound homeowners in the Bay City area and clients of the Bay County Division on Aging. The referral based program will be called "Seniors Safe at Home," and is designed to provide senior citizens with assistance in maintaining or improving the safety of themselves and their property. The following services will be available on a referral basis from their Case Manager at the Bay County Division on Aging:
  1. An interior survey can also be done at the homeowner's request to check locks, doors, windows, etc. for security.
  2. Fire Awareness & Safety - Bay City Department of Public Safety Personnel (Fire Division) would meet with the property owner to discuss any safety concerns as well as assist in remedying any fire hazards on the exterior of the residents.
