Picture: The Successful Futrures logoThe Successful Futures program is offered free of charge to all pregnant women and parents with children from birth to age six in Bay County.  It is dedicated to helping children start on the road to success by connecting parents with information, resources, and services that aid in the physical, emotional, and educational development of children.

Enrollment
Persons interested in enrolling in the Successful Futures program should complete the online enrollment form.

Home Visits
A nurse and family home visitor are available to answer your questions and provide you with tiops and tools for caring for your child such as: breast-feeding, nutrition, health and development, parenting skills, and conflict resolution.

Screening and Referral
A family home visitor is available to assess your needs and help you get connected with the various programs and services that Bay County has to offer.

Parenting Newsletters
Addressing common issues in a child's development from the second trimester through 36 months of age, these newsletters offer valuable tips on health and safety, parenting skills, community resources, and include comments from local professionals.

Successful Futures is a partnership of Michigan State University Extension,
the
Bay County Health Department, Strong Families/Safe Children,
Bay City Public Schools, United Way of Bay County, Bay Arenac Community Health,
Bay Medical Center, Early Head Start, Early On, and many other community agencies.

Funding for Successful Futures is provided by the Zero-to-Three Secondary Prevention Grant
from Family Independence Agency (FIA), the Michigan Department of Community Health,
and the State School Aid Act.
