MSU Extension - Bay County and the Bay County Health Department WIC Program collaborate in locating and assisting new mothers with their breastfeeding concerns. MSU Extension program associates under the Breastfeeding Initiative receive training in counseling skills, breastfeeding techniques, and breastfeeding support. They are also trained to provide the Michigan Extension Eating Right is Basic (ERIB) nutrition education curriculum.
