Senior Prescription Discount Card

In February 2002, the Bay County Board of Commissioners approved a Prescription Discount Card Program for Bay County residents age 60 and older. 

The Division on Aging has been accepting applications since April 2002.  Eligibility is limited to Bay County residents 60 years and older who do not have drug insurance or have exhausted their prescription drug insurance benefits.  There is a $12 annual fee for the program.  The fee may be waived if a senior brings a copy of a tax statement that verifies annual income below poverty ($8,860 per year for a single person and $11,940 per year for a married couple).  Individuals must be willing to provide name, address, telephone number, and social security number.
