Retired from Jennison Hardware in 1990.  Retired musician, leader of Gene Gwizdala and the Polka Spirits.  1948 graduate of Bay City Central High School.

Family: Wife: Carole; 2 sons and 3 daughters.
Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Has been a commissioner for 24 years, Board Chairman from 1997 through 1999.  Chairman of the Technologies Committee; head of hotel-conference center project for Bay County, chairman of MBS International Airport Commission, member of Bay-Arenac Community Mental Health Board.

Goals
Make sure that $8.9 million in federal grants for the hotel-conference center in downtown Bay City are used wisely; develop a document imaging system for document storage and retrieval.
